TGL 2027 Rosters: All Seven Teams and Motor City's Koivun–Kim Pairing

TGL expands to seven five-player squads. Koivun and Si Woo Kim join Motor City, Lowry moves to Boston, and Woods remains on Jupiter Links' roster.

TGL announced its complete 2027 rosters on October 20, expanding to seven teams with five players apiece. New franchise Motor City Golf Club brings together Brooks Koepka, Jackson Koivun, Si Woo Kim, Jake Knapp and Bud Cauley. For Presidents Cup followers, the most striking change puts two recent singles opponents in the same club squad.

The roster reveal also follows the league's first trade: Shane Lowry moves from The Bay Golf Club to Boston Common Golf. Across the competition, several former alternates become full-time roster members. The result is a larger player pool and more choices for each team's match lineup.

The five-player squads are season rosters. GOLF.com's report explains that three players still compete for a team in an individual match. A place in the table therefore identifies a club member, rather than guaranteeing that golfer will appear in every fixture.

Koivun and Si Woo Kim Become Teammates

Jackson Koivun defeated Si Woo Kim in Sunday singles at Medinah. Motor City's squad now gives them a shared team identity alongside Koepka, Knapp and Cauley. Their recent match supplies an interesting introduction to the pairing, although it does not determine how their club will select its lineups.

The change also illustrates a basic difference between TGL and the Presidents Cup. TGL clubs can combine Americans, International Team players and Europeans. The Presidents Cup's national eligibility boundaries do not dictate club membership. Fans following the same golfers across both competitions will encounter different teammates, opponents and selection decisions.

Lowry's Trade Changes Boston and The Bay

Lowry joins McIlroy, Bradley, Matsuyama and Thorbjornsen in Boston. The Bay's new five combines Clark, Min Woo Lee and Åberg with Fox and Brown. Those are the current roster positions after the trade and additions, rather than the teams' original four-player lineups.

GOLF.com also reports that Adam Scott, Kevin Kisner and Xander Schauffele will not participate in the third season. These departures help explain the difference between the new five-player squads and the lineups familiar from the first two seasons.

Familiar American Names Gain New Company

Atlanta retains Cantlay, Thomas and Horschel, adds Brennan, and promotes Gotterup from alternate to full-time player. Brennan arrives after his Baycurrent Classic victory. Los Angeles keeps its four returning players and adds Ben James; New York adds Ben Griffin and Alex Fitzpatrick alongside Matt Fitzpatrick, Young and Fowler.

For viewers, the practical question is which combinations the clubs use. A larger squad gives a team more possible three-player selections, while leaving some members outside each match lineup. The roster announcement establishes those options; it does not yet show how frequently a particular combination will play.

Woods' Roster Place and His Outdoor Schedule

Woods remains listed with Jupiter Links alongside Homa, Tom Kim, Bhatia and Mitchell. His TGL membership is distinct from the question of entering an outdoor tournament. He was absent from the initial 2026 Hero World Challenge field, where three invitations remained open when the list was released.

Neither announcement alone supplies a complete playing schedule for Woods. Readers looking for his next appearance should distinguish a season roster from the lineup for a particular match or tournament.

The new TGL squads create several ways to keep following Medinah players between Presidents Cups. They also offer a different form of team golf: club lineups cross national boundaries, and a larger season roster feeds a smaller match lineup. Future match announcements will show how each club turns those choices into a competitive team.
